1936 UAA Tourist Trophy

I'm Billy Rhodes broadcasting live for the Unglonian Broadcasting Corporation from Strathcona Park in Grahamshire for the 13th annual UAA Tourist Trophy. No competitors from Le Mans this year, however, the Alfa Romeo works team, subcontracted to a company called "Scuderia Ferrari" are competing in this year's TT. The 3-car team is led by Antonio Brivio and Carlo Ongaro, who won the Mille Miglia earlier this year.

43 cars are lined up for this international showdown.

Morris Castlereagh drops oil on lap 25, causing Bert Bryson to spin out on the following lap.

Max De Lang suffers a clutch failure on lap 39.

Giuseppe Farina and Stan McCleery collide on lap 41.

George McNamara drops oil on lap 60, causing two cars to spin out on the following lap.

Charles Rigby runs out of fuel on lap 80.

Ian Michaels gets an engine failure on lap 86.

Reggie Aitken loses oil on lap 88, causing Carlo Ongaro to spin out on the following lap.

Norman Browne suffers a magneto failure on lap 94.

John Harper loses his clutch on lap 103.

Graeme McLeary breaks his brakes (geddit?) on lap 111.

Kurt MacConnell gets a crankshaft failure on lap 119.

Aldo Stefani crashes on lap 130.

Jerry Kennedy has a an axle failure on lap 136.
